Qualifications for Eligibility
- Most Mesa county residents who are at or below 250% of the Federal Poverty Level are eligible for Marillac services. (Includes uninsured children who meet the same eligibility guidelines.) Patient fees are based on a sliding scale which takes into account family size, income and assets. Once eligibility has been established, patients will be issued a Clinic Card with co-pay information.
- If a patient or a family member are covered by a govenment assistance program such as Medicaid, CHP+, or CICP, some services may be free or only a low co-pay will be required.
- Marillac is not a free clinic. Patients are expected to pay for services when rendered.
- The Clinic does not provide financial assistance or pay health care bills (ie hospitalization, emergency room visits, lab or radiology, or specialty referral appointments, etc.)
- Eligibility is updated yearly or more frequently if patient circumstances change. Eligibility applications are by appointment only. Call 255-1782 in Grand Junction or 464-5862.
Safety Policy Notice
Marillac Clinic is committed to maintaining a safe environment for
patients, visitors and staff. We have a zero tolerance policy for
violence or language that is uncivil or threatening. Any violation of
these policies will have immediate consequences and could result in
loss of services. If you have further questions, please call the clinic and ask for a detailed list of these policies in the
