Medical Services

Primary & Preventive Medical Care

Includes uninsured children meeting the eligibility guidelines

Patients receive quality, compassionate care from our professional medical and mental health staff as well as specialty health care providers. Patients with needs beyond the scope of the clinic's facilities or services, are often referred to a specialist in the community who will see Marillac patients at reduced rates. Patients are responsible for payment arrangements at the referral specialists office.

Mental Health*

At Marillac, we believe in treating the whole person. Often, medical conditions occur together with life challenges that cause emotional distress. Our Integrated Care Program offers case management, psychiatric consultation, individual, family, and group therapy. This integration of our mental health and medical providers can help patients with their issues.

* These mental health services are only available to uninsured, established medical clinic patients.

Dental Services

Specialty services

Dentures, crowns, bridges, and root canals are available; a 50% down payment is required when scheduling an appointment for specialty services.

Adults and children can receive preventive and restorative services including cleanings, examinations, x-rays, fillings and extractions.

The Dental Clinic has special programs to promote good oral health at an early age.

Medicaid eligible children...

are seen for dental services at no charge. CHP+ has an annual maximum benefit of $600, then services are charged on a sliding fee scale.

There is some special funding available to provide limited dental and hygiene care for pregnant women, as well as treatment dollars for uninsured children.

You may be also eligible for certain programs to help fund other treatments. Contact our Dental Care Coordinator at 255-6345 for more information on these programs that may provide financial assistance for your dental treatment.

Medications & Prescriptions

Clinic patients can receive their medications at reduced rates.

Medication Assistance Program (MAP)

For patients with long-term chronic and serious conditions requiring medications not readily available at the Medication Outlet, the Medication Assistance Program (MAP) helps meet their particular needs.

MAP prescriptions require 4 to 5 weeks to fill/refill. Be sure to allow plenty of time for MAP prescriptions.

Plan ahead for Meds

Prescription refills MUST be called in at least 3 days prior to picking them up. Call the refill line at: 255-1705 (Medication Outlet closed daily from 12:45 to 1:45 for lunch.)

None of this would be possible without the participation of numerous drug companies and distributors who give generously to the program. A small application fee is charged for each MAP medication. Patients meet with an MAP technician to complete paperwork for this special program. Call the main Clinic number to schedule an MAP appointment.

Optical Services

Eye exams and new eyeglasses are available to patients with vision problems at a reduced rate. Some Medicare patients with low-income are eligible for this service.
