Marillac is Pacesetter
Through United Way's Pacesetter Program
In 2008, Marillac Clinic was a Pacesetter. Pacesetters are a select group of local companies and organizations who conduct successful workplace campaigns within a six week time frame from August through mid-September. Pacesetters help to "set the pace" for the Community campaign and raise, on average, about 40% of the total amount of the campaign. The Pacesetters report their results at our Community Kickoff event in September.
Marillac Clinic conducted a successful campaign event showing a 38% increase in employees pledges over 2007. We kicked-off our campaign with employees dressing in “super-hero” shirts or costumes recognizing the “Super Heros Among Us” Campaign. A BBQ was held in September as a thank you to our employees at the end of the campaign.
Marillac Clinic programs receive funding from United Way.
